Well, do you? Cuz I do, and I'm nosy like that. :p

Seriously, I can't stand either the mouse tab, or the nub.

Yes, now if only my POS secondhand laptop started up when I needed it instead of only when it wanted to, but that's a whole different issue

Yes, I picked up a Logitech cordless optical usb mouse for my laptop. I hate those pointing devices on laptops. They suck!

Yep. I always carry a full sized MS IntelliMouse Optical USB in my bag w/ my notebook. The only time I don't use one is when I'm watching videos or just flipping it open to do something really fast. Then I can make do with the damn touchpad.

I've got a trusty logitech marble thumbthingy that I like to use. It works great for a laptop because you can just set it on your knee or on the edge of the tray in an airplane without having to track all over the place like a mouse requires.

When forced to be my wife's personal tech support and work on her laptop I can't stand that touch pad. Glad she's got a logitech MX700 mouse she normally uses.

I bought a kensington wireless mouse for my laptop. $39, and it came with a charging cradle. Best investment i ever made for that laptop.

Trackpad, except when I need to do something that requires alot of small movements, then I switch to a logitech usb wireless travel mouse.

you'd figure that since a powerbook only has one mouse button i would use an extra mouse, but i dont. but then again i only do basic things on it for short periods of time. however if i hook it up to amonitor i pull out either a m$ optical notebook mouse (that i got for free off of the HD forums :) or logitech mx500

I cant stand to use the trackpad. Im pretty sure if i forced myself to use it more i would get used to it, but i am just much more comfortable with my optical logitech mouse. Hoping to get a cordless one soon though.

I can make do with the pad but prefer attaching a mouse. If I'm on the road, I wont take the mouse though, to save weight.
