It would be helpful to see your comments (likes/dislikes) on this type of cellular service.

I just got an LG Rumor Touch for Virgin Mobile (I'm using it to type this response!).

It is adequate for many websites, especially those that have more text than anything else, provided that the Opera Mini web browser is used. So any mobile site and full sites like Craigslist seems to work fine while on Opera.

But Flash won't work, and videos won't play. To get the full (or anything close) web experience, you may need to get a prepaid Blackberry or Android smartphone.

If I limit my browsing to checking things like sports scores, the weather, news, then what I am using is good enough.

Oh, and even my phone uses 3G, it uses EV-DO Rev. 0 instead of EV-DO Rev. A. In a nutshell, what I have is slower.

Hope this helps!
