The Xti has a cutting hook, blasting cap crimper and 2 large large bit drivers instead of 1.

I have the xti and love it. I use the gut hook pretty constantly, it's about the most useful type of blade you can have honestly.

I have a Leatherman "Juice" something or other. Very handy, always take it camping and use it at home too.

I wanted the juice because of the corkscrew (if I'm remembering the models right), but I had to go with the gut hook. If they came out with a new charge that had a corkscrew too I'd be all over it.

Generic Leatherman..? Perhaps you mean generic multi-tool? :p

I have a Leatherman Super Tool..I've had it for what..seven or eight years now? It hasn't let me down yet.

I wanted to get one, I could really use it around in the dorms. However, I am a poor college student :(

Ditto, but I'm a graduate now and might pick one up if the next job I get calls for it.

I decided to go with the Charge XTi, I'll follow up with a mini review when I receive it.

I use pocket knives all the time, day in and day out, but never a Leatherman. I might have to get one, what is the biggest most badass one they have? :)

I checked the "retired tools" section of Leatherman.com, and mine is even older than the one listed..they still sell the Micra, though - have one of those on a keyring. :)

I like my Blast, looking to get the universal tool adapter for it next.
The blades stay sharp too.

I've have the super tool and the wave. I vote that the wave is the better of the two because you can access the cutting tools without opening it, just like you would open a folder.
