Anyone have an idea, or know of a lineup roundup review online? Got DSL (it also is a WAP), but the modem isn't in the right spot so I need to put a PCI wireless card in my desktop.

Anyone have an idea?

I suspect models change too often for a roundup to stay current. Newegg.com user ratings should give you some clue.

I use external USB adapters instead of internal cards since it's easier to connect them and you can re-position the adapter to get the best signal. I get get Zonet -g ones from newegg but there are dozens of brands from $20 - $100.

I agree - usb is best - get one that has a cable going to an antenna that you can reposition.
