Increasingly, I do not trust anyone age 40 or below. As I have grown older I have noticed that the people I have recognized as dingbats are now taking control of all aspects of life. They are becoming middle managers and CEOs as well as chief admins and deputy directors. They are now even in elected office.

While I was young I never thought about it that much. Now I see the incompetent boobery that is in charge of key systems and facilities locally and nationwide.

My generation is bad but it looks like the younger generations are far worse. They lack morals, are drunkards and casually flaunt any law if they think no one is looking. They inhabit youtube and stickcam. They watch porn. They litter and break traffic laws.

We are doomed.

Doomed I say.

people of every generation says that. Go read some public opinions during the 30's and get back to me.

Nope.
My town is infested with illegals and they do absolutely nothing. I think they are paid off by the businessmen who exploit undocumented workers.

I remember around the turn of the century they said the same thing about Chinamen who worked in San Fran and built the rail roads. Now they own the dry cleaning industry.

I suspect it wont be long before a non native American becomes president one day, perhaps Arnold Schwarzenegger. The horror. Although he probably could not be any worse than Obama. :'(

Maybe they were on to something. If anyone was elected to high political office singing "You a stupid hoe" or they admired "jizzed in my pants", there is no future. :(

I don't trust anyone. The older I get, the more I realize people of all kinds are idiots. It's only an accident of circumstance the mouth breather at WalMart isn't a doctor. They're the same person that went to medical school, only they didn't.

It varies. I only like those who let me off with a warning...

Me too.

They learned everything online. University of Phoenix style.

Chicago politicians? I hope not.

Dear sir, there is no such thing as a dirty politician from the fine city of Chicago.

You were just noticing it now. This has been happening since the Sparta times.

While incompetence has long been with us, notably in foreign countries, it only seems to be really taking hold here in America now. Just look at the Obama administration. Complete incompetence! :|

As opposed to the brilliant piloting of the Bush administration? The good leaders we've had have been in the minority. Most are mediocre, some have been terrible, and very few brilliant. Instead of fixating on competence, you should be looking at treachery. 9/11 signaled a free-for-all amongst authoritarians, and that's one of my biggest disappointments in Obama. You expect that kind of shit with hawkish Republicans, but not necessarily from the asses. The economy's just a side note. Money means fuck all in the end. If you don't have freedom, you don't have anything, and we're running out of freedom...

I speed on an almost daily basis but otherwise I'm pretty much a law abiding citizen.

Oh, and who doesn't watch porn? :colbert:

Well, we could split hairs over the finer points of policy. On balance I would rather have W at the helm over anyone else. But I guess thats a matter of opinion.

What I dont like is how we have accepted that we intend to default one day on the national debt. We will not fix the problem either. Raise taxes and cut spending. Simple, right? But nooooooooo we are addicted to the sugary tit of entitlements and bridges to nowhere and we arent paying for anything so lets keep borrowing with absolutely no intent to repay a damn dime.

Its over, baby. :'(

I trust my local authorities because I know practically all of them. I know their children and their wives. They know me, and respect me. I also know that I'll never do anything that would put me at odds with them. Of course that doesn't include watching legal porn for every second that I'm in my own house, but I don't litter, break traffic laws of any sort, steal, or give a shit about YouTube or whatever this "stick cam" is that your talking about.

Also, most of the things you are complaining about would never "doom" us. If we break laws then we still get fined or arrested, as always. If we are drunkards or drug addicts we still get nowhere in life, as always. If we watch porn, we still feel slightly guilty, but end up feeling relieved afterwards, as always. I'm not going to apologize for the youtubers, except to say that I've seen some amazing things on YouTube that I would have never seen had there never been a YouTube. So maybe we have to suffer through the talentless hacks to get to the real gold. I'm cool with that so long as I know I got to see more gold than I would have a generation ago.

Fair enough. I will count you as the exception rather than the rule, however.

hell no, not at all..

years ago they tried to set me up, tried to pull me into a web of deception they really had no clue what the fuck was going on.. i was BARELY smart enough to survive it.. it hurt me alot, lost a wife and a family over it... now.. they fear me.. they know me, the deputys who had hard ons back then for me, are now constables, problem is, the people who i associated with then, we're smart too, and moved on to bigger and better things and nowdays, work with these crooked fucks... i got out, i started over.. it was the only way for me.. now i'm just a blip on the radar, thank God...
