I won't game on a PC.

Why not?

1. There are very few games released for the PC that I think are worth getting.
2. I'm wierd.
3. Most games I do want to get are released on the PS2.
You also run BSD:p

Seriously though, the only games computers are good for are RTSs' and FPSs' and that's only because of the keyboard and mouse.

Ive crashed 007 Nightfire several times on the PS2. You can fall through the scenery in some points

They're good for RPG's too, especially the MMO versions...

Thank goodness I have a modded xbox because someone posted a hack for the saved game so you could get by it. Otherwise I was going to return the game. I wasn't going to invest 30 more hours into the game because of a bug. I feel sorry for the people with a non-modded xbox who run into the issue without a saved game.
how were you going to return the game?

That proves I have good taste.

As long as you keep up with the newest technology, PCs always offer a better experience... The array of controllers is greater than that of a console too. I have a wingman rumble pad, a wingman force feedback commander joystick, and a logitech wingman wheel\pedals... I don't think I'm missing anything by not having a console... Besides, my computer couch is more comfortable than my living room couch.

Too expensive for me. I like the ps2 controller. Most of the games I want to play come out for it. I'm happy. :D

Most of the problems I ever had were with the my NES.

And I don't understand why so many people here are against playing games on consoles. It's like you have some stigma attached to playing games on your TV. While I agree that a lot of good games are available on the PC, most of the games I want to play nowadays (sports, RPGs, etc) are more fun for me to play on a console.

Why would I want to play Madden 2004 on my 20" LCD when I can play it on my couch, with my friends, on my 32" or 57" TV?
I have no idea why some people refuse to play games on consoles, either. Some people act as if they are betraying their PC or something.

I'll game on either my PC or one of my consoles, if the game is fun! :)

Here is another reason I don't use a PC for games:
I just installed the demo for XIII, and I start it up, get past the damn splash screens, and my monitor says out of range. :|

EDIT: If anyone comes up with a solution, PM it to me if you don't mind :p

I don't know why ALL you boobs are so extreme in one camp or another.

BOTH the PC and Console have their merits. Having both satisfies most all needs.

Since PCs and Consoles are relatively cheap, I don't see why a middle class person can't have both.

I have both, I prefer one to the other. Does it really stop me from using either? No, I play the occassional PC game, but not often enough to even really say I do.

Maybe you weren't posting to me. I don't think my posts were really that fanatical anyways :p

In reply to the very first post... you can so finish gt2 100%, I have a save sitting here that proves it. I think you have to have every single car, every race beaten, etc.

*EDIT
And THPS is a very buggy series, especially the combo / multiplier feature. In the original game if you had x15 and went for 16 it would lock. 2 and 3 had it, but I don't know the exact value. In thps4 they make it soooo easy to lock it with jango though. x255 is the top. On a related note, I've landed tricks in the billions (albeit with a couple of the cheats on, the ones you buy, not codes though). That's a cool thing.

*EDIT2
And wobble wobble, what about mario 64? There was some yoshi bug, kind of like the Enter the Matrix bug. If you were too far into the game when you got yoshi it locked, or something to that effect.. I totally forget what it was (it's been a while since I've played the game. Hrmm, I might bust it out now actually.) That's a nintendo-made game.

Well, there is nothing like Final Fantasy on the PC.. well, there is Final Fantasy PC version, but, it's just not the same.

But, I really do trust Squaresoft so I have no problem getting one of their games for the PS2 or what have you.

Ok, well, maybe there are a few, but not that many. I never ran into that bug though. Actually, I can't think of very many bugs I run to on a console. In fact, I don't remember any...

I still play PC games most of the time. I play consoles when I like to relax... (I can be a stat whore in some on-line games!) ;)
