Do you tip when you order food to go?

An associate of mine always tip even if he orders food to go. I on the other hand never tipped on a to go order. What to you do? Obviously, if something is delivered, i tip, i'm only talking about going to a restaurant and picking up the food yourself.

Yah, I tip my local chinese food restaurant a couple of bucks when I pick up an order. Not anywhere near the 20% I tip when in the restaurant, but the kitchen and wait staff still had to work to prepare my food.

Yeah, maybe in the future you'll use the search and pull up the other 100 threads where people are too stupid to know how to act for themselves in.
