all jokes aside, the spa here charges $80 for a one-hour facial which includes deep cleansing, etc

do u have to tip for this type of service?

depends on the situation. if she obviously doesn't want it, it would be like tipping a waitress by leaving a napkin with 'don't play in the street' written on it.

Yes, tips. My ex works at a spa. At least leave $10+. Alot of these spas the workers are 50% commission + tips.

Okay, here's a serious response.

[size=+1]Tipping is not required for anything. It is up to you if you want to tip or not. If you feel that they did an amazing job and you believe in tipping for quality service, THEN TIP.[/size]

Oh, and if you're a repeat customer that tips, they might treat you better on future trips, but YMMV.
