I usually just ride my bicycle to work when I drop my car off for service.
My wife gets free loaner cars through Lexus even when she drops it off for an oil change so it's been years since either of us has used a courtesy shuttle.
I would say no though. I've never tipped a courtesy shuttle driver.
Sometimes people do, but when I had to do it, 99% didnt. I'd say I got 4 tips over a span of a month and sine it wasnt worth it, i just declined the tips. Whatever makes the customer happier sine it really isnt hurting me that much.
I tip anyone for service. It may be different in different locales, but around here they work for tips...it's usually a low paying job.
Normally people that do not take tips will let you know.
I have found ATOT the cheapest forum on the internet. People have no problem spending $100 to make their PC 1fps faster on average, but good forbid a tip.
Many that do tip make a caveat that the service must be above average to get it.
i've been a shuttle driver for chysler/jeep and i've taken people to randomest places and also picked them up out in the middle of no where. I've only gotten 2 tips ever in my 2 month span in shuttle driving. I also hand wash their jeeps and never been tipped. Job was min. wage and i was 17, but i did the best dam job i could.
