Let's say your boss was fired today...would you be able to take his/her place?

I'm not sure I can handle the audit of 5 public clients and countless private ones. My boss works 7 days a week from 7am to 12am. He is simply a machine and I don't think I can handle it. Half the time he's out of town too.

Yes I could do it, there would be somewhat of a learning curve but once I was over that it would be easy. I wouldn't want the 50-60 hour salaried weeks though.

Hell YES!

About all she does is clean, and throw stuff away.

Well, maybe not...

I am a packrat....

And she DOES pay the bills.

Sure can! But enough time in a management position might cause my practical skills to atrophy :)

No. He deals strictly with management, and I suck at dealing with people. He also works 80+ hours a week, which I'm not willing to do.

no. not yet. i just started 4 weeks ago, so i am still learning the ropes. there is still one guy who is ahead of me in line, and he'd probably get it, which i have no problem with.

I'm not sure if I could. I am all-ready in management but at least I get to work on managing more projects than people. If I had his job it would be all about people and that would drive me nuts.
