do you think vi_edit really likes to use vi ?

another vi resources (at least go there and read the joke :) )
and get a windows version from vim homepage

what i like about vi is the keyboard-based commands.... i hate it when i type something and have to move my hand and reach for the mouse....

also, do you need a reminder that knowing vi, esp in programming classes, is one heck of a chick magnet? ;)

Back when I was taking C+ classes, I used vi for everything. We were taught other editors, but that was my preference.

I totally agree, in any Unix system you will always have Vi, no matter if you are running SCO, SVR, Linux and a whole bunch of others...

I think MS should implement the use of Vi in their next edition, which would be &quot;XP2 - we were too cocky, please forgive us and start to use our products once again&quot;...
