Ok think of it this way if you lost your sneakers and were in a REC league wouldn't you feel like a jerk just because the sneaker you are getting you need to wait a couple weeks for so until then you team played short handed

if you really NEED it, you'll want to have a spare in case. So just go out and buy another one.

Well everyone needs a car but not many can just go out and buy a new one once their current car breaks down

Do you really need assistance on figuring this out?!?!! C"MON!

Call one of your clan mates and say "send me a frigg'n mouse!" and if that doesn't work...go buy one and quit being a damn scrooge.

You seem to be a very bitter person I am just trying to figure out the best solution to this problem. Oh and if throwing away around $40 to you is scoorge like then send me some money.

You're trying to work the system. What you're trying to do causes price increases in products at stores.

Your right..I'm bitter about this because I don't want to have to pay $5.00 more everytime I go buy a damn mouse. Now suck it up.

I did this before. Tried out a couple mice from office max for about a week, didn't really care for them, and just got a mx700. It wasnt a big deal, just make sure you don't eff it up and return it before the refund window runs out.

haha I knew that example would come up. We're talking about whats within your means though. Most people who need a car, and lose it, buy one as soon as they can afford it again (remember we're talking NEED). Anyway, returning the new one you get from Logitech shouldn't be a problem. Really though, if you want to take your gaming this seriously, it would be a better idea to have a spare.

i did something similar somewhat recently ...

i won an xbox360 and got it 6 days before actual launch, on November 16th. However, just the system was mailed at that time and NO games. Part of the prize package was the 360 + 3 games - PGR3, PDZ, and Kameo. Since PGR3 was the only one I could buy in stores at that time, I went to the store and bought PGR3.

I didn't get my PGR3 copy from my prize until I was in cali (another part of the prize package) on November 22nd. It was sealed and brand new, just like the one I purchased. I then returned that brand new one w/the receipt of the one I purchased on November 16th.

I don't see anything wrong with that at all. It's the same exact product %100. If that's the case, I say go for it and just do that.

Also if I was really unethical I would just call logitech over and over and have them send me new mice because all they did was ask for my address and they are send me a new one.

You are wasting money, just not your own.

I thought about doing this for a bad motherboard I needed to RMA. Wasn't 100% on the MB dying and thought about buying one at compusa before sending the MB for replacement. My conscience told me not to and I sent in the MB and when I got the new motherboard I was relieved that it was the problem.
You could probably justify buying a different mouse to try out and then decide that you don't like it and return it.

Your plan will probably work if it's returned within 30 days.
And this thread will be locked eventually because you're asking how to scam a store.

I don't understand why he doesn't just shoplift it.

It doesn't matter if you don't make any money off of it, you are depriving the store of their product for 2 weeks. During that time they can't sell it to someone who actually *wants* to buy it. They may also order more of them to replenish their stock, leaving them with more mice than they teally wanted to have once you return it.

That is unethical. Borrow one from someone.
There's your answer.
