There's lots of things I can't afford....Somehow I can't find it in my heart to use my financial status to justify theft.

This reminds me of a Simpsons quote:

Bart: Are you guys crooks?
Fat Tony: Bart.. uhm. Is it it wrong to steal a loaf of bread to feed your starving family?
Bart: No..
Fat Tony: Well suppose you got a large starving family. Is it wrong to steal a truckload of bread to feed them?
Bart: Nuh-uh
Fat Tony: And what if your family don't like bread. They like....cigarettes.
Bart: I guess that's okay.
Fat Tony: Now, what if instead of giving them away.. you sold them at a price that was practically giving them away. Would that be a crime, Bart?
Bart: Hell no!

I understand you well, I think. In this case, if I were you, I wouldn't buy those CDs or download mp3s either. Personally, I can live without all that fancy music. When I take my music with me it only stupids me I guess. I can't concentrate on anything when something is roaring right into my ears.

Next time I go on a shooting spree, I'll tell the judge "It's not murder, it's just using a gun in a dubious way."
I'll let you know if I get off or not.

If you don't hear from me, assume it didn't work ;)

I would never buy that car anyways officer and I know it is illegal to steal, but according to my morals it is ok.

thats a different thing..cars are made by workers and by steel..I can also sing..np
And making music doesnt require workers or equipment?

If Lamborghini developed a neat little machine(computer) that would clone each one of their cars(mp3s) for 100% free(file sharing), but it would be of less quality than the handmade ones(CDs) which cost WAY more, would it be morally wrong to steal one of their clones even though it cost them absolutely nothing?

:Q

(loves making up bullshit stories...)

Nope, not morally right. If you can't afford the entertainment, don't be entertained by it. Or hey, listen for it on the radio. Fairly simple concept... do you sneak into movie theaters also? Bring your own ball and club to the putt-putt place?
