Seriously? Ouch! That has to suck. The best thing about a final exam is that feeling of it all being over at the end of it. I'd hate to still have stuff due after that :D

I don't see how a study week would make such a huge difference in grade if you actually knew "most of the content quite well". Unless most of your classes have massively weighted (60%+ of total grade) finals and you're assuming the scenario in which a 93.0% (typical A cut-off) is reduced to an 89.9% (typical B+ cutoff). Considering that you're an engineering major and in your final year I can't imagine a normal (if any) grading scale anyways, in which case the professors (assuming they aren't meanies) would see that everyone suffered due to the circumstances of the earthquake and curve appropriately anyways.

The exams are all weighted 50% for my classes this semester. The class average is a C so it's not unreasonable that an extra week of intense preparation would make that difference.
Edit - I'm a computer science major, not engineering. It's a similar degree of difficulty in senior year.

Actually I'm going to a party soon :D Aftershock party FTW.

After the aftershock comes the awesome party! Aftershock and Awe. Watch out for that decade long hangover, though . . . just ask any Iraqi.

Back to your party: Post disaster sex is the best. I understand the still coursing adrenaline tightens the vajayjay. Party like it's 1905 San Fransisco! :D

We had one day between the end of lecture and the start of finals as well.
