Do you think this dude survived?

It looks to me like passed right through the crack of the boxes and they did nothing to slow him down. Talk about a dumb leap of faith.

Doubtful. Look at the way the boxes just collapsed below him and didn't seem to send out any shockwave. He was going way too fast for that to save him.

Wow, I dont think he made it.

ON a side note these types of clips have made me believe we are Doomed.

Kind of makes you wonder if there was anything under the boxes in the middle. That seems pretty extreme and stupid to jump into *just* a pile of boxes.

Another point, this looked like the skinny skater-type of guy. Chances are, he weights 150 pounds, maybe 170. So if you think about the velocity, at least he's not over 215 like me... I wouldn't doubt it if he broke something, but it's hard to say if it was fatal or not.

😕
Landing into boxes is common for stuntman. AFAIK, they're needed for high velocity landings.

Yea, I've seen a few of those shows where they show the stunts and a few of them are into boxes.

The velocity would be the same.

Not always. Wind resistance plays a role here on Earth. In a vacuum, yeah, they'd be going the same speed. So would a feather.
