Do you think there is a place in Heaven for people who kill and kill and kill and kill

Is there a place in heaven for people who are driven to kill, and derive joy and meaning doing so, from asshats like:

1. Islamists who pelt their women with stones.
2. KKK radicals
3. Other murders
4. Terrorists who bomb civilian buildings
5. Suicide bombers
6. etc?

isn't that the point of some of those terrorists? they kill so they can go to heaven and be with 77 virgins or something like that?

i donn't believe in god, the devil, heaven or hell anyway so it doesn't bother me

IMO, no god (and associated tripe) FTW

Interesting how probably most of the people you listed probably wouldn't be doing that murdering if they had no religion in their lives.

Still not applicable for me... I believe in an afterlife that all sentient beings go to when they die. But it's not heaven. And god, if there is one, only serves as a facilitator in that place.

i don't mean this as offensive, just an observation. why is it that most gay people i know don't believe in God? is it because they don't feel accepted?

maybe gay men are overly logic bound, without realising it? Logic defies a belief in god, and logically, they feel they should love other men, as men are better 😉 😛 lol

you just said a mouthful. pun intended. 😛

funny thing about christianity is that if you make a deathbed confession and accept jesus christ as your lord and savoir, you go to heaven. !!!

I'm not an atheist, I'm agnostic.
And, no offense to you either, but I think most intelligent people come to the same conclusion when presented with the evidence: there's no concrete proof one way or another regarding god's existence.
But, personally, my beliefs in that area aren't affected by my sexuality, so I might not be the right one to ask.
Your suggestion is probably accurate for a lot of people though -- the bible/torah condemns homosexuality, so a lot of gays reject judeo-christian religions. And most people associate the concept of god closely with religion overall, so voila, lots of atheist gays.

Depends. In some Christian religions you can't get in without being baptized.

Islam doesn't mention anything about 77 virgins.

They do it because they are idiots.

Most of the muderers I know didn't do it because of religion, and many of them don't seem to believe in god. I'm gonna have to go with "evil people dont go to heaven"

you live and then you die....thats it....those people that kill a bunch are just darwinian in nature...survival of the fittest.
Every species has its radicals and thus having people like that around are natures way of keeping us on our toes.

/just to fan the flames

say what you will, but there are a lot of intelligent people who do have faith.

I'm agnostic too. I was just wondering if it's ok to kill people. Lots of people.
If you're agnostic, why associate morality with divine judgement?
But you're just making a joke, so I guess it doesn't matter... 😛

I just meant that most rational, objective, scientific-minded people come to that conclusion when presented with a situation where you have no measureable proof on either side.
Now, if I had some kind of uniquely personal religious experience, I'd probably change my mind. I'm not saying everyone who follows a religion is dumb.

I like where this is going. There is no morality. Just darwinism.

Perfect because I want to bathe in the blood of the slaughtered, and mingle with their lifeless bodies, the exhiliration of ending someone's life tasting like chocolate upon my tongue... dripping and warm...

Yesssss..... that is how I want to live. The screaming and the wailing and the burning.... life is sweetest when it ENDS!!!! HAHAHahahahAHhaHAha

I know plenty of perfectly rational, objectic, scientific minded professors from across the country, some that have gone to harvard and yale, that are studying microbiology, physics, chemistry, amoung other things and MANY of which beleive in some form of religion and heaven/hell. Biology can have a reason for life and death yet a person can still beleive in a soul, its not that hard to believe in a soul and that a person has a presence that exists beyond a physical plane. many of them are buddhists so maybe that explains it ? I dont know

QuoFT. It's called the spirit and supernatural, some people believe in it, others don't. I think there has been evidence that one exists. People who will only accept a realm that abides by our "science" is looking through tunnel vision IMO.
