Do you think the words "Toots" and "Broads" that refer to women will ever make a comeback?

When I was young I read Howard the Duck. I think I remember a scene where he slaps his pretty girl sidekick in the butt and says "Hiya toots" and she had a surprised expression on her face. For some reason I find this amusing.

And now I wonder if those expressions will ever make a comeback. Will we ever utter phrases like, "Look at the gams on that broad!"

I know a few older ladies I work with that use the word all the time... its hilarious.

My good friend (who's quite the playa mind you) always uses to word broad too, its hilarious. Hanging around him and watching a lot of Soprano's makes me say it a lot haha

My boyfriend calls me Toots, but before him, I think I'd only heard Bugs Bunny and men in old movies use that word.

Broads sounds masculine, I HOPE it doesn't come back.

What about "old lady," or "foxes?"

Didn't your dad ever tell you it's not polite to call chicks broads?

I use "broad", just not around the wimmens because they don't like it.

Sample sentence:
"So did you end up taking home that broad who was fooling around with you last night?"

i don't mind being called toots, but broad seems skankier.

I only use broad when referring to skanky girls, I'm not sure why either.

I still hear Old lady a lot. Not around around the broads though. :)
