Do you think the Democrats will use the Presidents Carrier Event in Next Years Ads?

As I recall some Republicans have already used it in ads, but it may turn out to be a liability especially now with the somewhat convoluted explanations regarding the "mission accomplished" banner.

Democrats will use anything and everything they can. Thats what politics are nowadays, mud-slinging at its finest.

They learned well from their Republican counterparts

Considering in 2002 republicans ran ads portraying a democrat incubnent as "unpatriotic" and "Siding with the Terrorist" even though he lost 3 of 4 limbs in Vietnam.

Later Bill Frist, when asked if he authorized the smear was quoted as saying "Its nothing Personal"

Well the "Mission Accopmlished" is my republican apologists, "Nothing Personal"

It also works within the party.

I remember there were allegations of Bush people or a third party who supports Bush, making phone calls/ sending emails in South Carolina doing fake polls asking them "If McCain had illegitimate black kid, would they still vote for him."

I think it was Saxby Chambliss who never served, portrayed tripple war amputee Max Cleland as unpatriotic. This is GOP politics at it's finest.
And yes, Democrats should use the Carrier shots, because republicans were using it.

I hope in the ads, they zoom in on the President's groin with a voice-over that wonders aloud, "Just what did the President stuff down his flight suit? If he can't tell you the truth about that what makes you think he can tell you the truth about anything. Am I right, ladies?"

Actually, a grea political comercial would be.

Zoom in on president on aircraft carrier.

Voice
"Did President Bush Misunderestimate the War in Iraq?"

Did you guys see bush on tom brokaws show last night? Someone asked him a question about the big mission accomplished poster when he was on the carrier and he was like.. uhhh some sort of misunderstanding happened with the navy and admin someone put it up (implying that it shouldn't have been up) or something like that, the report said the navy requested the sign and the white house complied... seems like bush regrets ever having that mission accomplished sign up..

I hope the Republicans use the image of him on the carrier.. It was a very patriotic moment.. and I love our country and support our President.

When I snap my fingers you will awaken. You will remember nothing.

Squawk! Pretty bird, pretty bird. Squawk! Bush/Cheney in '04!

Anyone running against him would be foolish not to use it against him. I'm sure if the shoe was on the other foot and it was a Democrat who was president and did the whole Patriotic Photo Op the Republicans would use it against him.

Yes, like that one time, Michael Duk riding in a tank for a "Patriotic Photo Op". So the shoe fits.
