Do you think pilots should be trained and armed with weapons?

After Tuesday incident, there will be more air marshals aboard US planes, but not every single plane. I think pilots, steward and stewardess should be trained to defend themselves and their airplane.

Yes, and a marshall on board, I would be willing to pay another $10 more for my plane ticket to have a marshall after what has happened in the last few days.

Just a Question: How safe is it to use guns on airplanes, what happens if you put a hole in the plane? Or it ricashes (I don't know how you spell that) off the walls

I read something about a long time ago, in the early days of avaition, there werre Sky Marshles, trained to fight hijackers and gunfight onboard airplanes. Bring'em back!

No, I think the best solution is to allow NO carry on luggage for domestic flights, PERIOD..

Even if you're not allow to carry any weapons, if there are 5 of you and you're willing to do harm, you still are able to do it. Overpowering the stewards and pilots. Untrained stewards with guns are dangerous too, terrorists can overwhelm these folks and steal their weapons.

if a hole gets in the plane no biggie... you lose presure and you need to put on oxygen masks till they lower the plane

yes they should have guns on the plane....
I think they should give a gun to every passenger that gets on the plane... someone trys to do something hes got 200 people with guns aimed at his head. Problem solved.

Absolutely. In fact, most commercial pilots are ex Navy or Air Force pilots who are already trained in the proper use and handling of firearms.

And monkeys might fly out of their asses too.

All the BS speculation of why people should not be armed are just that, speculation.

If the pilots and an air marshal or two are armed, at least they have a fighting chance, unlike the poor folks that gave their lives Tuesday in the name unarmed and nonexistent security.

Our best bet is locked, impenetrable cockpit doors, and armed undercover skymarshals on board every flight. And I would support the idea of arming the cockpit crew as well.
