OK, first, realize that a GTX 690 is basically two GTX 680s in SLI on a single card. Next, realize that two GTX 690s would be quad-SLI. I have not heard good things about quad-SLI, or even tri-SLI. I understand that tri-crossfire (AMD) is better. (Unless you're using the GPUs for something other than gaming.)

i7-3770K is much cheaper than a 3930k, and is almost the same when it comes to gaming. Stick with 3770k. Power supply should be fine. I don't know about running dual 690s, however.
