Just a letter to your kids/wife/SO in case something unexpected happened. Do you (or should you) have a "dear daughter" (or wife/SO, etc...) after death letter?
opinions?

Dear Daughter,
The family dog is also your half-brother. The family cat is the mother.I'm sorry.
in that case, i'd do it. i'd love to read a letter from my dad (passed away in '89)Originally posted by: aircooled
I know it's easy to make fun of (and I would too))... but....
I guess what I mean is; if I die in a car wreck tomorrow, there may be things I haven't talked to my daughter about yet (because her age).
Is it a good idea to leave her a document to read after my death? or would that just make matters worse?

That's good to hear... My daughter lives primarily with my first wife, but there is so much she doesn't know (or understand) and if I died tomorrow, she'd never know. I'd at least like her to read my side of the story if for some reason I passed away before having a chance to talk to her......

You have to entrust someone with the task of deleting all your porn. I wouldn't want my kids finding that, and I wouldn't put it in my will!
