Aren't you supposed to be breaking in that clutch nicely?

Time for some real tires. UTQG < 201 FTW.

I highly doubt those would handle better than new treaded rubber.

just put new Falken Azenis on the rears. I wanted to match the front with Dunlop Direzza but the shop I go to couldnt get them for 14 days. Anyhow I am impressed with the grip these buggers give. Just went down to the industrial area where I normally rip around and geeeeeeze. :) :D :D :D :awe: I think I have whiplash.

Is it really necessary to break in a clutch?

I'd say he can probably just consider it broken in now. :p

lol! it actually does feel alot smoother now. And this has actually been the subject of much debate over at other car forums. The manufacturer recommends a certain distance of "easy driving", but what the hell does that even mean.
Before I burned the cookies (Yes, soccerballtux, its call "Stunting" and would recieve a $500 fine where I live. But this spot is a regular area for guys to go to do such things because it is well away from populated areas and is 'private property', so only the owner would be able to report us.) the clutch would give me fricken whiplash from being so jerky unless I rev it up real high and engaged it slowly (which I assume would not be good for it either), now it flows smooth in and out of gear, with minimal jerkyness. And man, does it grab!, now with the new rubber my car launches off the line - the 4AGE struggles (if I the clutch out at 6000rpm off the line itll bog down to about 3000) at first but after getting past 3500rpm its riot! Im hard on cars.

Ive never owned a car like this before, and what I experience is completely a matter of opinion. I know there are more powerful and headsnapping cars than this, but Im still proud of what Ive got.

That Dunlop is beyond fuzzy.
:awe: nice!
