Do you think I can get an employee handbook?

My economics project is to put together my own employee handbook. So far in preparation, we have had to bring in applications from different places. Now we need to bring in employee handbooks from different places (preferably a restaraunt, since that is what ours needs to be on). I wouldn't think that businesses would be too willing to just hand these things out like candy. Any suggestions on where I might have some luck on getting one?

uh, why not? all they usually contain is rules of the company, which is usually almost the same as any other company. usually handles dress code and possibly when and how you can use sick/vacatiion time and stuff like. its not usually proprietary top secret info.

They might have to rip out the pages diagramming the secret handshake, but that shouldn't affect your grade too much.

Ive tried a few places. McDonalds says they do not offer to the public. KFC said they only have one, and can give it up. Hannaford said they do not offer to the public as well.

I am clueless as to why they cannot give me one!
