Do you think "Diablo 2: LOD" is too much to handle?

I just visited the blizzard website and went to the new D2: LOD website and I took a look at some of the new items (Elite Unique Items/Armor) and I read the specs on these new items and it's just crazy. Damage is going up beyond 500 (i'm sure it goes way more than that w/ a war pike or somethin) and armor def. is like 1200+. I used to be a pretty hardcore D2 player but now w/ this expansion pack, I think there's just way too many combinations of items/armor/weapon to make a "Godly" character...i dunno, maybe it's not as complicated as I think it is...

what do you guys think?

Heh, pick up the game bro. Let's put it like this, my 72nd level character that used to do 5 minute runs in 8 player hell/hell is back in nightmare since he's getting his ass kicked . Those weapons may SEEM powerful but it's all relative. Play in hell in the exp and u'll know what I mean.

I know that it takes a lot more to fight in hell diff. but I'm just kinda blown away by the fact that there are so many different combinations of items/weapons/armor to make a godly character...I mean, in D2, I thought there were already a lot of combinations...I guess I just have to try it out.

gonna try this assasin a bit more before i uninstall this game and delete the install files.

Blizzard is really smart making the 1.08 patch, effectivly forcing hardcore diablo players to get the expanision. Things got much much harder in v1.08, and the expansion will balance it out, with stronger weapons and other items.

Though, another act sounds fun too though. I miss the ablity of the sorc to spam the screen with nothing but orbs..sob
