In all seriousness, we probably do have a bigger military then what we think. This is a rather vast land and I'm sure there are decent plans to defend in case we were to be attacked.

That's what got me thinking about this. I am sure that we have updated plans, but what about the other way around? Would Canada have any real hope of invading us?

Depends on which Leopard model. Australia replaced some of their older Leopard tanks with refurb Abrams a few years ago. Germany produces competitive tanks. IIRC, the original main gun on the Abrams was manufactured in Germany. They are produced state side now, AFAIK.

Hah, I'm sorry but the Leopard that Canada has isn't a match for the Abrams. Canada is currently borrowing tanks from Germany to use in Afghanistan. Their plan to upgrade their armored division is currently to buy used vehicles from Belgium. While we all know that a tanks depreciate like crazy as soon as you drive them off the lot you don't get the newest features when you buy used.
