"My PC was'nt Plug-n-Play, it was Plus-and-get mad"

"get out of your Windows world, it's not worth it I'll Never go back."

The cop the skakeboarder etc etc all baging in Windows seems to me a bad practice. IIRC you should never bad mouth the compition. What are you thoughts....

Apple switch folks are on the right hand margiin

It might have an effect on some viewers. At least until they get to the store and see the price tag. Then they'll remember the Dell Dude and his comercials!

Doubt it PC people and Apple people are different breeds. Kind of like vegetarians and meat eaters. :)

Maybe so! People who don't know anything about computers and don't care to know will see the commercials and believe them.

It's so obviously just a petty PC bashing campaign. I think it's pathetic. The commercials are amusing to watch, but I don't think they are going to win over many PC people. At least not computer-literate people.

I agree it's pathetic. If Apple wants to win over people, then turn over hardware licenses to other manufacturer's so they can use the OS, all of which would actually make Apple spec machines cheaper to buy, something that PCs already are and have been for a long time.

"Bleep BLeep Bleep Bleep Bleep" No.

However I never get tired of seeing the same old sorry benchmarks they try and use to prove they are a better system.

The ads themselves won't do anything; they're hopelessly cheezy, and people have the intelligence to see right through them. However, they have been effective in creating a lot of buzz. People will remember the brandname, check it out, and purchase it for other reasons if it suits them. I own an iMac because it's ideal for my needs (it's a stylish living room mp3/web browing box). I also happen to own a custom-built, overclocked Athlon XP 1800+/Asus A7V266E/GeForce 3 box. Once I'm employed again, I'll work on putting together another box purpose-built to run some Linux distro.

What? You don't see the Incredible Speed Boost given to Photoshop by the Macintosh G4 Architechture Which Makes PeeCees obsolete, if for some stupid reason you decided to apply a 30% rotate, Gaussian blur, and 400% zoom simultaneously, and you really need that extra 1.27 seconds of your life ... all of which makes that extra $2000 you spent so much more worth it. Right? Right?

If it wasen't for BillGates back door support to maintain psudo competition, apple would be on the ash heap of computer history.

I actually had nothing against Apple til these Commercials came out. Plus, where I work we have customers who own Macs now telling me of the untapped "potential" of our Macs(most of us use the PC's more) whatever... I think the commercials are retarded.

I think they got a LOT of work to do to get some more buyers from PC fans..

One, make computers that are up with the speeds of PC's, and secondly they need to make some software!!! Noone wants a computer that doesn't do what they want.. that's why people choose PC's because there is so much variety of software available.

I havn't seen any of the commercials, but it sounds like I wouldn't change. The only way I would buy a mac (right now) would be if they were half price and offered an instant $1000 back, plus it came with every piece of software available for the mac.
