Do you think Apple will support the 64 bit version of Vista soon?

Right now it says they only support the 32 bit version. My laptop has 4GB of ram though and I would rather have the 64bit version since I assume eventually they will all be 64bit..

Speculation is that support will be extended with the 10.5.2 update, due to be released any time now. No official word, of course ;)

I'd be surprised if anyone has a C2D Mac and *can't* get 64 bit Vista to install; Boot Camp just prepares the partition; once it's done, it's done. The only issue is drivers, and at that, since until recently 64 bit Win wasn't supported, it's been a question mark.

Well, it could be that the BIOS emulation only allows for a 32bit OS when you do BootCamp... I have heard that EFI can either be 32 or 64 bit, I have no idea how that affects the BIOS emulation.
