Do you think apple can pull off itunes on pc's?

Obviously many hackers are good at what they do so assuimg that a Windows Itunes port will be 100% uncrackable is foolish.

Even so, what are everyone's opinions on the viability of such a port. From my own experince, most Windows online services such as Buymusic.com and emusic.com only offer limited bands, have unpractical downloading and managing methods, and are quite expensive.

Basically, my whole reason for asking is my apprehension for such a nice windows client, and a reality check that the service might be too easy to crack that apple will never bother to port it.

Bascially I have a mindisc player and am worried about buymusic.com restrictions and prices as emusic doesn't have the same selection.

The port will be hacked because for every genius creating these preventative measures, there are 1000 finding ways around / over / through them.

What restrictions are you worried about?

Buymusic only lets you burn like 5 times...Does that count for a Minidisc..

actually, i had emusic for a year. it was five bucks a month unlimited downloads. man, i got a HUGE library of great stuff. even spoken word!!!! (i mean, it excites me...they had some awesome poets and stand-ups on there)
