Do you think an eye exam should be mandatory to get a driver's license?

My contacts are -1 in both eyes and I couldn't pass my vision test this last time without my glasses.

I'm near-sighted and cannot read signs until they are very close (basically passing them) unless I have my glasses on. I know people have significantly worse vision than I and I couldn't imagine driving being safe impaired like that.

So a smog test is required every year or two, but whether or not you can see doesn't matter.

Seems legit.

Cali's the only state that requires smog tests arent they? we dont do them in Indiana at least, good thing too. i know many people who remove their catalyct converters and scrap em.
