Do you think an 8800GTX will work on an Asus A8N-VM CSM?

I know a GX2 doesn't work on my board, should that be an indication that the 8800 GTX won't either? or was the GX2 probably due to being a dual card board?

I'm being offered a pretty reasonable deal on it, and I don't mind paying a bit extra just to make sure I can get it before the stores are out of stock.

It should work fine. The 8800s are normal (non-SLI) cards.

The store I just spoke to said they can't sell it now even though they have it in stock. Is there any chance you know when it's supposed to be allowed to be sold?
