Lower for sure. They have fun with all the a$sholes when they are young, then reality kicks in and they know they must find someone that will actually treat them right and support them.
 
if they rise...then I might as well give up now.....

If they lower, then I might just have a chance....

No..they stop looking for someone who is mysterious and exciting and a bad-ass and start looking for a nice man. hense, "lowering" their standards 😉

edit: when most of them are younger, being nice is lower on the scale then the mysertious/exciting/bad-ass
 
I think it depends on the woman.

In camp A, you have the unmarried, emotionally unstable, 30-something woman who panics, knowing her clock is ticking. Ultimately settling for a mate for all the wrong reasons.

In camp B, you have the experienced woman with her head screwed on right, who knows EXACTLY what she wants, and is willing to wait for it.

By experienced I mean average or normal. Anywhere from a few to several meaningful relationships, with a one night stand or two thrown in. (these days just about everyone has had at least one)

lol, I met two nice older ladies in EQ 😀

Unfortunately the relationships fizzed out after a couple of years because I'm out of work due to my busted back and knee issues.

Having little or no income = not good for even the nice ladies 🙁
 
depends on their educational background. women tend to require men atleast be as educated as they are, and make more.
also depends how pretty they are.
and from there yes the standards probably fall over time, but the better looking and more highly educated start from a higher point

just like men of course, cept men care more about looks then education and salary, as more powerful educated women are more likely to ask for sacrifices on the mans part.
 
It's just downhill for women after mid twenties. It starts sinking in that they have a finite shelf life, they aren't getting younger, they aren't getting prettier. Women don't like to date younger guys so the pool just gets smaller and smaller for them. The ones who are still single after say 30, man they get desperate, it's sad. Guys on the other hand can still go for younger girls and everything is cool.

I'm like 25 now and it seems like the girls I go out with are still the same age as when I was in college. Hell, I went out with like a 19 y/o girl for a while. Life is good.
