Do you the quality of tap water is a health concern?

Tap water is perfectly fine. The only reason I would invest in bottled water is if I lived in an area with bad tasting water.

In fact, it has been found that most bottled water is simply tap water anyhow...

Bottled water is a huge scam, folks. If your tap water tastes fine, and you're still drinking bottled water, you've been duped.

i always drink tap water, what i find funny is all the people around me who complain about tap water, how gross it is, etc. meanwhile they drink their pop and soda--sugar--all day, and IM the weird one.. 🙂

Depends on where you live.
The tap water in NE Florida tastes nasty to me, but I don't know if it's a health concern.

The only reason I wouldn't drink tap water is if it tasted bad. I have a PUR filter on my faucet, and I run all my drinking/cooking water through it.

You do realize that bottled water that doesn't travel out of state isn't tested by anyone for impurities or foreign objects. However, all tap water in the US is overseen by the EPA and an estimated 100 people per state making sure it meets governmental guidelines.

A lot of bottled water is just tap water bottled. Most even list the local county muciple water source as the ingrediant.

Bottled water is a rip off unless you #1 need a container, #2 the tap water actually tastes bad to you, or you have no access to a tap at the time.

Do you run it through the filter when you rinse after brushing your teeth?

All the tap water ive ever drank tasted like crap.

I grew up with a natural spring, it was very sad when it dried up last winter.

I think its the flouride personaly.

I drink either mineral or seltzer water but only because I like it better than plain tap water, not for any concern about the safety of tap water.

Tap water is far more regulated and tested than bottled water.

Generally speaking, tap water is SAFER than bottled water.

Bottled water wasn't mentioned. Anyway, I live in Ontario, and teh Walkerton water crisis is not a negligible concern.
