Do you text with your parents?

Since my parents got on an unlimited everything plan last year, we text back and forth quite a bit. Sometimes it's chain texts or a dirty picture that my dad sends along, or my mom just checking in and seeing how my day is going. It was kinda weird at first, but now it's pretty commong. Usually text with them a little bit every day.

I text my mum a couple of times a week. Almost never text dad. I speak to both of them every couple of weeks on the phone.

I text my mom a lot but my dad doesn't even know how. He has a cell phone but only turns it on to check messages at home when on the job.

my parents dont own a cell phone. i think they're still running Win 98

ever since my mom got a bb storm shes gotten more into it. she keeps in touch with my kids via texts as well as with me, but my dad rarely answers texts. ill get a call like 2 weeks later asking me if i was trying to send him a message somehow lol.

My dad doesn't use his phone except for work. My mom doesn't know how to text. I sent her a text once and she didn't know how to open it.

I text with my dad now that he has an iPhone. My mom can barely check her voicemail, so not with her.

1) I gave up my cell phone this year.

2) I never had texting enabled when I did have a cell phone.

3) Both parents have been dead for MANY years...it'd take a fabulous cell phone plan to allow such texting.

My mother was murdered when i was 18 months old and I don't know my dad. My grandparents are both in their seventies now so the answer is a very definite "no".

Last text from my mom came after I told her I have another job interview this week: "Y 2 jobs."

And last text from my dad after I jokingly asked him if he's got my mom's new computer built yet: "yep. shes sending and receiving like a bitch"
