Like when I see the Defualt Icon (one big left eye, small right eye) I tend to associate that person with a "shady" or "shifty" person..

What about you all?

Elf was when I was a nef, so no more mr. elf I don't think.

I associate the avatars with the people that post here. ie: smiling devil = n0cmonkey/nothinman, fat girl = j0lly/konichiwa, chirstmas ornament = urameatball, etc

I tend to associate the male looking avatars w/ males, and the female looking ones with females.

Yes.

When I see certain avatars, I think of certain members. I like the one i'm using, although i'm sure most people around here would associate it to RossMAN. (although *i'm* the suave, swashbuckling, sophisticated, debonair type of guy who SHOULD have it. 😀)

Guilty. Sometimes I catch myself thinking a post is made by a particular person just because of the icon.
 
yep, and speaking of which, i associate azrael's choice of icon with Chrisshuff.
I like mine cause its tragically philosophical. 😀
