I don't know if these types of off ramps exist in all areas but they are the off ramps that you can exit off to a street or continue straight and get back on the freeway.

I have those but don't do that. The freeway goes 60 mph - 75 mph. The off ramps are ~30 mph. Plus there is often a stoplight or stop sign. You need more freeways/more lanes.

No, because its dumbass.

if you think about it, its the dumbasses that brake for everything, do wrong speeds on wrong lanes, weave, and STARE that are making you go slower to begin with.
I say take any chance to pass these old, slow staring beeotches.

Edit - Are you talking about using the exit only lanes, then merging back into traffic before leaving the freeway or physically leaving the freeway w/ the offramp then getting back on ?

People actually do both around here.

Whoa... yes, if we got rid of all on-ramps, traffic would be much better because there would be no way to get onto the freeway.

the popo usually uses them to trick people into thinking they are exiting the freeway, when they get back on they get the dumbasses that gun it as soon as they think the police got off the freeway

i know what exits you are talking about, and here in Northern VA I use them to save 10-15 mins on certain trips

I've used one in particular along I-75 north out of Cincinnati.

And, there's one here on I-64 east in the suburban area that came in handy sometimes when I worked downtown.

But I don't "blast" through them. I just use them when traffic is backed up.

Yeah wonderful ya fvcktard it saves you 10-15 min but backs up everybody behind you. That's why you can't get on 95 in the morning because people are blocking up the on ramps trying to save 2 min.

Not here in Texas. The dumbass texan just drives across the grass from the frontage road, down the shoulder and on to the highway. All the while with a smoke in his mouth, a sandwich in one hand, a beer in the other, and cradling his cell phone on his shoulder. Yup, they're dumbasses! Did I forget to mention in a pickup?

No, I'm not a self-centered prick that thinks the world revolves around me... which is exactly what people that do that are.
