Do you take good care of your teeth?

Do you brush, floss and use mouthwash everyday?

I usually brush everyday, but I almost never floss or use mouthwash.

I need to floss more..

I've noticed stuff builds up since I had my wisdom teeth removed and I've only ever had one cavity, so I don't want anymore..

<---MUST ENDEAVOR TO FLOSS MORE OFTEN!!!

Same here I'm going to buy some mouthwash tonite

I brush and use Listerine mint at least twice a day, sometimes more depending on what I eat or drink and if I'm at home. I floss, use Listerine mint, and fluoride rinse every night at bedtime except if I'm not sleeping at home, which is rare.

I usually run my teeth through the dishwasher about every week or so, a lot easier than brushing. Then I use the standard glass on the night stand at night to store them. I change the water every few weeks, too.

i brush in the morning before class and every night before bed. don't use mouthwash, think i'm allergic to it.

Brush twice, except on weekends & vacation-try to floss every night, and use an anticavity rinse. Don't want my $4200 teeth going to crap. 😉

Excellent care. The dentist always compliments me on them. I only brush them twice a day, usually no flossing unless I ate a steak or something.

brush x 2, floss x 2 every day. wait until you younguns get older and your teeth start falling out. You'll wish you would have flossed at least once a day.

any ideas on teeth whitening? I wanted to get those Crest Whitestrips, but they were like 50 bucks. I heard about baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. Any Ideas?

No, unfortunately. Even worse, I was dispostioned for soft teeth. I had a cavity on my first ever dental visit, from eating raisins.

Rather than start a new toothcare-related thread, I'll ask here - any other sonicare users feel like their gums are addicted? If I go ~16 hours without using mine I get this feeling in my gums that a brushing remedies. Actually pretty similar to nicotine cravings, back when I smoked. Maybe it's just me...

since a month ago, i've not been to the dentist in like 7 years... but the checkup went well and the dentist and the nurses complemented my teef. I brushed and still brushed twice-a-day. Ocassionally floss and mouthwash if there's any around.

Sonicare has nicotine??? You'd think they'd mention that as an ingredient...

dental hygiene is extremely important in preventing disease. trust me, you dont want some of the diseases that can come from an unclean mouth. One of which includes bacteria invading your heart valves which will eventually kill you if left untreated. BRUSH!

Slu MD <- not quite a doc, but damn close.

I have been reading about this in the last year and believe it.

I brush twice a day and floss maybe a couple times a week when I feel like it. Mouthwash dries my mouth 10 minutes after I use it (even if I brush after)... and it just feels hot and sticky after that... so I stopped using it. It's the alcohol...
