do you take food with you to eat on the plane when you fly?

just wondering... I dont fly that often and need to take a trip tonight and am taking my 9 year old daughter. for the few times that i have flown i dont think i have seen people bring scooby snacks and drinks (other than starbucks coffee) onto a plane.

yes cause i cant stand pretzels and those bags of penuts suck these days, and the last time i flew all they gave me a stale granola bar (and it was a 5hr flight!)

Some even encourage it. They will announce before the flight that the flight is 6 hours and that they will only serve drinks, so go get something to eat and bring it on with you.

sometimes i bring those little individually wrapped pies. other than that no.

just dont hop over and get a pizza, mc donals fries, cinnibon, or other such fare right before boarding...i hate that stench along with plane stench just makes it worse

yea i thought about that, mducks doesnt smell good after a while and if its a bumpy flight.... yuck.

Yes, we take food with us. My son as food allergies, so we always pack for him and usually some for ourselves as well.

Just don't bring kim chee. I was on Hawaiian Air and this korean guy sitting behind me pops open a tupperware container full of kim chee. I swear it smelt like someone died.
