Do you take a lot of pictures when you're on vacation?

since i had the ability last year to store the pictures on a hard drive, i constantly took pictures, even if they were not as "pretty". this was my atitude last year when i traveled to australia. i figured it could be my only chance of going their in my lifetime. :) i remembered the years before i had to pictures conservatively due to the size of the flash memory. :(

Not nearly as many as I'd like to... although I don't really go on vacation that often, and don't go sight seeing when I do. Just spent time with family/friends.

either i need a higher resolution camera, or i need to take more pictures. my australia picture folder is only 330mb. :( then of course, my camera's max resolution is only 3MP. it's time for a new camera. :)

I had to dump my 512MB CF card to my laptop once on my last trip, and filled it halfway the second time.

yes. all you really get from a holiday are memories, so you might as well record them. I couldn't put a price on all my photos

The last big vacation I took was to Glacier NP and up into Canada and I think I ended up with about 850 pictures. We had a laptop we dumped pictures too, so that was nice. But, three of the days were backpacking, so we had to take pictures during the day and delete crappy ones at night for the next day.

ever since I got a digital camera, I take craploads, always can dump the ones you don't want before developing them.

(developing, sheesh, I mean printing. How damn old am I?)

I take very few pictures of anything. I've just never seen any point in living in the past or reliving the past. If I look at a picture I've taken, it just goes into the same place where all the pictures I've taken in the last 20 years go...into a big box, with the pictures I've not looked at in 20 years.

I don't have a digital camera, but my wife and I take tons of pics and video too when we are on vacation.

Virtually every vacation we take is in one or more of America's national parks, so there is always plenty to photograph.

Mine's only 3MP too :p

(Video takes up a lot of space on my camera too, and sometimes I do a fair number of video clips as well..)

Back in '02, we took about 1200 pics during two weeks in Paris on my trust, old (then only a year old) 3MP Sony. We still take a lot but that was the most I think.
