My mentor was at UCLA before coming to new-fucxico. The F-bomb was expected and appreciated when talking about things you care deeply about. In new-fucxico people have a bunch of sand their vag's... so much so that when one student complained an "f-bomb" witch-hunt had the provost (sandiest vag in the university) looking through old feed-back forms for more reports of using the f-bomb. He's tenured and an insanely well known (for that school) academic... so eventually she cleaned the sand out of her vag and moved on with her life.

some people like to create drama: so do whatever you can to avoid letting them make you the center of it.

Every place I've ever worked; swearing has been a normal part of... erm... language. As long as you're not swearing at customers it's fine. I don't see the big deal.

With a few of my coworkers sure, but on the various sites no. Mostly because a lot of those sites are health clinics and frequently with children about, so best practice is to curb ones tongue.

I work from home, so, yeah quite a bit 😀

Last place I worked on-site was pretty awesome. Architecture group was full of guys with no filters on their mouths at all.

We were on a conference call with a with a Sr. Director and two VP's when we were asked if we were able to get past a particularly difficult design issue. The lead architect responds "yeah, and now we're all in here just rubbin' our dicks together... it's all gravy man."

Laughing my ASS off.

in some situations if I swear while working, I can get thrown in jail but in my office I make the rules.

Do I swear at work? lol

Yes I'm a 30 year old man and I say wtf I want. I couldn't work in some uptight stuffy office where you deal with a bunch of fake ass people. "OMG did you hear the F word? OMG!!"
