We get usa today, chicago tribune, and macomb journal here in the dorms for no charge. I do read them ocasionally.

I did for a while,
the newspaper delivery person was waking me up,at 4:30 am with a noisy exhaust system
on his car,i called the newspaper 2 times bitching about the noise,
i then called a 3rd time,and cancelled my account,and told them that 5 of my neighbors were about to
cancel their delivery if the paper man,did not fix the noise.

the next day,a different person was delivering the paper.
that was 2 years ago,and i may purchase a paper once a month,i do not miss it.
