Not in your savings or checking account, the money that is immediately liquid.

Maybe in your safe box at home, in between book flaps, etc..

I just thought of this because I'm looking at five $100 bills right now from waitoring part-time for several weeks, too lazy to deposit it.

Really? I think $$ on your checking account is easier to spend than in crisp $100 bills.

$$ on your checking acct = easily spent by shopping online.
Crisp $100 bills = I personally hate to break them, so it prevents me from doing impulsive buys.

um. I think I have $17 dollars in cash. Still about $1500 in checking. I use my check card so much that I've gone through two in 7 months.

I have a change machine and a small safe with some cash in it. Not really for emergency though, just for whenever I need it.

I havn't seen cash in who knows how long. I have direct deposit and 3 credit cards. I have auto bill pay and have the full balance owed directly withdrawn from my account. So I simply go to work, pay for things with my CC. And life is good.

Cash is like outdated and stuff.

Yes, buried in a nearby field. Paper money in a sealed glass jar so metal detectors won't pick it up.

No.

I have 24/7 access to my bank and always have checks, credit card, debit card, ATM, wire transfer, etc.

Not joking. The lid is glass (it came from one of those candles with the tight-fitting glass lids and plastic O-ring around it), then I sealed it with RTV (like silicone). Money is in a ziplock bag inside.
