Do you still use your student ID to get discounts?

For those no longer in college, do you still use your student ID card at the movies (and other places) to get discounts?

I am still a student, but the discounts arent even that great. Like I really need 10% off my Cici's pizza buffet, it only costs $4.00 normally.

Oh yeah, learn how to make a poll

Hell yeah. I haven't attended a class at my campus since 2001. (although i did finish up online over a year ago) and i still use it.

I don't, since my ID is completely faded, but I've successfully verbally claimed to be a student and gotten discounts.

Yes. Saved a nice chunk of change when I went to a couple of Washington Caps games earlier this year.

I am the reason the NHL is going bankrupt.

😛

Edit: And for once, looking younger than I am is actually an advantage.

A buddy of mine went to NIU (dekalb IL) and used his ID for about 8 years UNTIL they changed the ID design.

That bummed us out. Now we have to pay full price for bowling and pool! ohwell.

Absolutely! It's expired, worn out, and broken in half (scotch tape)... and I still get movie tickets cheaper...

You guys should try using your college ID cards in the vending machines of other universities. My undergrad ID card worked on some other university vending machines - swipe the card and get something for free!
