Do you still use Windows XP frequently?

Considering XP is going EOL next year, have to moved on or are you still using it?

I still use it on one of my computers no point in updating it its too old and I just use it as a file server

At home I only have it on a backup computer.
Used it a month ago when I was building my current desktop. Otherwise I'm full Windows 8 and have been since Developer Preview. Looking forward to some of the new features in 8.1 (boot to desktop, but not the Start button - I really don't need it, not that it hurts to have it).

Still on XP at work, though.

At home, I have 2 PCs that run windows 7, 1 that has Slackware, and 1 that has FreeBSD. My fiance has a laptop, she runs windows 7.

At work: my POS laptop runs windows XP. The servers that I work with all run AIX, SunOS, or Linux.

Not since our work machines were upgraded to Windows 7, and not at home since shortly after Vista's release.

We have some crash carts that are using XP still, but given they're purpose, I don't want to call what I do with them 'use'.

Stuck using it on my work desktop and my work laptop. Both are new machines that were downgraded from Win7.
All 3 machines I use at home are Win7.

How a company of 2,000+ people think it is a good idea to not gradually phase out XP is beyond me.

File server was the last box to use it. After the rebuild I went with Win7, so no more WinXP machines in boxes household.

It's been years since I touched a xp system, that os is downright miserable to use compared to 7 or 8 and can't die off soon enough.

Typically I use windows 7 at home and at work.
If I need to check interactions of Microsoft issues sometimes windows 8 is used.

All the comps at work are XP.

Some are even stock XP (i.e. no service pack) those are a bit tough to get stuff running on these days.

Stupid and cheap Portland State University that still runs 2.4 GHz P4 Dells.(with 1 GB of RAM and 5400 RPM hard drives.)
Absolutely miserable to use.
(even for the very basic use that we use them for..)

I haven't used XP in about a year now. My work terminal is relatively new so it runs Windows 7. None of my systems at home have XP anymore. Good riddance. XP was alright post SP2 but it was a nightmare in those early days.

At work yes, and probably will be for a very long time. Too much crappy proprietary software. Most of it also requires an old version of Java and IE6.

I don't get why companies insist on outsourcing programming.

At home I recently built a new system so switched to Linux and I also have a win7 install for games.

Nope. All Windows 7 now. One sister in law (who I am somehow tech support for) still uses an old Thinkpad R60 with XP (Core Duo, etc). I have mentioned that she needs a new laptop by next spring. The parentals use W7, Vista, and there is a mostly obsolete XP box as well.

edit: and I don't miss it at all. Feels rather like the stone age compared to 7.

I still have a T60, upgraded it to a Core 2 duo, 4GB RAM, and put 7 on it. Runs it decently well
