Do you still use floppy or something else?

Just recently I evaluated the condition of many of my older floppy disks and drives and started to really think twice about continuing to use a floppy anymore. Among the many different bootable and mini portable storage options out there were flash devices, mini-cd's, super disks, zip drives, and much more. Just curious if any ATOT'ers still use their floppy drives and disks, or do you have other small portable and bootable removable storage options on your PC? Do you even have a floppy drive at all?

the last time i used floppy was to run the ibm hd diagnostic program.
still more convenient and cost effective than other solutions

I still use a floppy maybe once a month because burning a CD while cost effective isn't quite as convenient nor fast.

Floppy disk, stick it in, copy, take it out, stick it into the other hole and you know the rest 😛

I also use a 64MB USB key which I bought for $9.99

Floppies are still great for BIOS flashing, and also for general work related task. Most of the time Word / Excel docs are under 1.4mb. I still move alot of individual JPG's & GIF's using floppy.

I use network storage - AFS clients rock! 🙂

So does U of M, for providing a secure, reliable way to store my files.
