Do you still use a mousepad w/ your optical mouse?

I use the Voodoo5 mouse pad 3dfx supplied in the early release of the V5 5500, when they missed their intro delivery dates. Nostalgic of me....

i still do.......one of those func1030 thingies. I won it on the net. The thing is, i'd get rid of my mouse pad but my MS explorer mouse seems to collect dust on it's little feet, and therefore run *less* smoothly when i use it without the mouse pad on my desk surface. My desk surface is also white, which i gather doesn't help matters for responsiveness either...YUP..definitely a mouse pad for my mouse.

Yeah..... I'm using Intellimouse Explorer and some brandless/generic mousepad with a picture of tweety bird here.
😀

Well, I really like it better on a mouse pad. I noticed that it makes a scuffing noise when I use it without a mouse pad. my pad is from my local Panama city Mall. I has a nice picture of a beach on it 🙂

i'm using an old dirty Office Depot mouse pad taht i stole from school. I was just in the rut of using a mouse pad, and i still am.

I don't have a mouse pad right now, but am considering getting one because of all the dust/gunk the feet pick up off the desk.

Nope, i don't use a mousepad... one of the reasons why i got the opitical was so that i didn't have to buy a new pad every few months, and also for the freedom of movement.

I`ve tried A4 paper, my desktop, two mouse pads & I prefer the Allsop mouse pad for my optical it gives me the right response & my hand is comfortable.

🙂
