I've been having a lot of them lately. I'm not sure why, but they are very angry nightmares. Lots of anger and hate and sadness in the dream. I can feel it emanating around me in my dream, basking everything in red.

What was your last nightmare?

I dunno if it counts, but I had a panic attack for like 2 hours last night. Sure felt like a waking nightmare.

Sometimes I have this nightmare/dream that I'm back in school but I can't catch up to any of my friends and I'm falling behind in all my classes. Then I wake up and realize I failed out a long time ago.

I don't have so many nightmares anymore, but sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and have NO idea where I am. I guess my pupils are not dilated for some reason because usually when this happens, I can't see anything but very dim shadows. You know how usually when you wake up you can see fairly well in the dark. It's a pretty frantic feeling, not alot of fun.

it's been a while since I have had a true nightmare, but I have had a few Lucid Dreams that were really cool (google it).

i do if i am thinking about something a lot.
Or if something stressful is going on in my life.

The weird thing is... most of the time i have them, i know it is just a dream, yet they still bother me.

Like, after you wake? Or while you are still dreaming?

I know my nightmares can stay with me for hours after I wake up.
Sometimes longer. Because they are always a representation of emotions I am feeling, but holding in or holding back. But when I dream it's like the dam breaks loose.

Yeah its no fun at all. No doc yet, only really started happening the last year, fortunatly they're few and far between. Did the doc help though? If they continue like this I will definitly be all for seeing a specialist.

Bump cuz nightmares suck, but Batman dreams rule

No, the doctor didn't help at all, but that's just me. What is causing your anxiety?
I have OCD, so I was having upwards to 5-10 panic attacks a day for a while. Put me on some drugs, and they didn't work. $100 a bottle, and my parents couldn't afford it. So I just pretended like it went away...lol.
That was about 10 years ago. It never did go away...heh.

Probably a mix of school, gf being in Belguim for 3 months, me trying to find the perfect engagement ring, and being in a new city. Thats where most of my anxiety comes from, but I didn't know they came about from stuff like that, I thought they were random...? This is my third since about August, is that a lot?

Also, I had a dream my roommate was stealing my stereo/tv/playstation last night, woke up and stormed into the front room expecting it to be gone.....sooo relieved when it was still there.

Nope. There may be some fearful elements in my dreams on occasion, but they usually end up being thwarted.
