Yeah, definitely.
Though admittedly there is a bit of nostalgia involved -- I often have trouble really getting into an older game if I didn't play it back when it was new.
With most of the garbage being released now you almost have to.
Yes, I rescently played Darkstone, Dungeon Keeper, Total Annihilation and Baldur's Gate. Sadly I couldnt get through BG, it's just too long, and there is too much geek stuff one has to understand... For example, what the heck is 1d6? 2d4? I dont knwo and I dont want to know! I want to play the game, not STUDY it!

Hate to break it to you, but SC2 isn't going to be less than $60 for at least 5 years. Blizzard has a history of not reducing the price of their games until they've been out for quite a few years.LOL To kill the crave for a new game... I just reloaded Starcraft 1..... Yes, I was one of the heathen that NEVER finished it.
Graphics are a bit dated, but it should buy me the time needed to have SC2 become a 30 dollar game.
No, I never buy for multiplayer. In RTS I SUCK........ Actually would have to improve to suck.
The first two missions brought me "back to the day". I cant believe how OLD that game is.
Hopefully, I can find the expansion packs. YEAH. I bought them. NO, never played them.
Well, I think I played a mission or two in each.
God dayam ur making me feel hella old.
Am i the only one who still has his dice collection?
EVen tho i havent touched in a while, but i had a large cache of D20's D8's D6's D4's... ect... and they were all in colored crystal too.
Im still waiting for today's RPG to incorporate SDC and MDC damage traits..
I dont think we've gone there yet.
