Bump (You're welcome Nuclear

)
I saw a piece of paper on the floor and picked it up, here's what was written on it:
"I smoked almost everyday last summer but only a couple times a week now. Probably for the better, I was spending a lot of money on it. Around here it is $25-30 for a bag (eighth, about 5-6 bowlfuls worth, about 4-4.5 grams typically).
I see nothing wrong with getting high, although it affects people differently. I tend to retreat into my own little world and don't talk a whole lot, although sometimes I'm more talkative. I love listening to music high. If you haven't gotten really stoned, put some headphones on, closed your eyes and just relaxed then you're missing a quite enjoyable experience. Parks and scenic areas are a fun place to visit when high; I feel like I have a stronger connection to nature when under the influence.
As far as it affecting driving skills, YMMV. Personally I've smoked nearly a quarter ounce and have driven fine. If anything I tend to drive slower than normal and am very careful because I don't want to get in an accident. But some people can't handle smoking and driving, so they shouldn't. Know your limits.
Drugs aren't inherently bad. Coke, heroin, cannabis, MDMA, opium, none of these substances are evil. They're just chemicals or plants (I like that signature with the Henry Rollins quote). Drugs require personal responsibility and knowledge of their effects and consequences; if you don't think you can handle a particular substance then you may be better off not partaking. Saying 'drugs are bad' because you can't handle them is ignorant. Conversely, saying 'there's nothing wrong with drugs' is just as dumb."
