coz the only ramen stores you get to see are on TV. and of course the TV show will film the ones packed with customers and not the empty going-out-of-busniess ones.

yeah, same. For azn's it's ok to slurp, same with soup and stuff. It's not that we don't have manners, I think that it's just a matter of eating your food and enjoying it. Plus most chinese people get their roots from not-so-wealthy families, so manners like that are not a big deal.
