Do you send rebates with priority?

Depends on how much they are worth. Greater than $75 and I always send priority mail with DC.

If the rebate is $50 or more yes or if it's a notorious (we never received your rebate request) rebate clearing house then yes.

Otherwise just a regular 'ole $0.37 stamp

Just make sure to follow the rebate form directions carefully, photocopy everything and keep notes of when you mailed it, etc.

Never have sent anything any other way but first class. I do scan everything I send and save it.

Nah. Most of 'em will admit to receiving the rebate and make up some other story about why they won't honor it.

They may get their faster but the rebate CSR may just leave it their anyway like 4-6 weeks anyway before even processing it. and some may even ignore it altogether and just not send any rebate at all. These guy are scam artist, and they will say nothing when asked why you didn't get your rebate.

If it makes you feel better, than it is worth the $1.10. I do sometimes and not others. There really is no method to my madness.

I do, however, photocopy everything before sending it.

Hmmm...DC (Delivery Confirmation) does stand up worth squat. For almost the same $$ one can send the rebate certified with return receipt which requires a signature.

Any rebate over $40 I send certified w/return receipt. I have never, ever had one sent that way not paid........because I also write the certified number (I also highlight it) on the rebate receipt with the heading "Certified mail and Return Receipt Number: Copies have been made.".
